She has been in the shelter environment for nearly four years and yet she still remains eager to please and wanting to learn new things. Today we worked on "shake". She was very eager to learn a new trick and will do just about anything for a treat!<br />After working with her for about 20 minutes she was getting it! I would put my hand (with a treat in it) down and when she pawed at it I would say "yes!" and treat her from my left hand. Next week I will add the verbal command "shake" when she paws at my hands. I will update her blog next week with her progress.
